Grouchy Unicorns are skeins that don’t meet the Head Yarn Wench’s exacting standards: prototypes that didn’t make the cut, skeins where the dye acted a fool, skeins with excessive variation from the standard for the colorway, etc. These quirks are purely cosmetic and do not affect the quality of the yarn itself.
